Sometimes grief seems endless and unfathomable. We walk along its shores and it seems contained, but then a rogue wave sweeps us off our feet or the tide comes in submerging us where once we stood on firm, dry ground. Like living near the ocean, living with loss offers us a view of the infinite, yet demands our caution and respect in the moment.
